WSCRCA is proud to open registration of its Community Garden Beds to all WSCRCA members for the 2021 garden season.

Location: 25 Weston Park (off 73 St. adjacent to the soccer field & behind the Weston Drive plaza)

Bed size: Approximately 4 ft x 8 ft x 18 in. or 24 in.

Rental fee: $50 per bed for the season. The rental fee includes one garden bed and access to water and resource materials. A decision on access to hoses, garden shed, shared tools will be made in 2021 with regard to any government COVID-19 guidance at that time.

Garden season: October 16, 2020 to October 15, 2021

Registration is only open to active WSCRCA members in good standing. You must maintain your WSCRCA membership throughout the entire garden bed season. Not a member yet? Click here to sign up for a WSCRCA membership.

Confirmation of Bed Rental:
Once you complete your registration form, you will confirm the process by paying online. You will receive an email confirming that your event registration has been completed and paid.

Waitlist Procedures:
If the bed you want is unavailable, you may join the waitlist for that bed. Select Add Ticket, and click on Join Waitlist. It is possible that the renter may cancel before May 1st. Meanwhile to ensure that you get a bed, we also suggest that you register for your next choice among the available bed numbers.

Once you are on the waitlist, you and all other wait-listed people for that bed number will automatically be notified by email that the bed has become available. Login to the system, select the Garden Registration Event, and select "Modify Registration" (if you have another bed reserved) or "Add Ticket". Select the now available bed number (unless someone else got there first) and Add Ticket and then select "Remove" from your initial bed registration. Before you remove your old bed from registration, ensure you have successfully registered and paid for the new bed. If you are unable to select or pay for a cancelled bed, it means another waitlister was quicker in securing that bed.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your bed rental, please log into the system, select the event, and click on "Modify Registration". Your current bed rental should appear. To the right select "Remove" and your registration will be cancelled. A refund will be automatically processed to your credit card. Refunds will only be given for cancellations received before May 1, 2021. Otherwise, refunds will only be issued if the bed is rented to another member for the 2021 season.

Should you have to cancel, you are responsible to ensure that your bed is empty of any plants for the next gardener.
